Education
Khazen AthletiKare provides quality services in health care and fitness to individuals and groups with the ultimate goal of injury prevention. Education is the foundation of KAK's injury prevention programs, as we firmly believe information is a powerful tool in helping all clients reach their goals. A well-educated client feels more in control and is more motivated to continue with his or her program. Each client receives consistent verbal and physical cues on correct technique and why this is so important. At KAK, it's not just the "what", it's the "why". Often throughout their training sessions and athletic training service sessions, clients will receive articles on various topics of injury prevention and general health & fitness, including those on ACL tears, low back pain, flexibility, and overuse injuries, just to name a few.
In addition to education interventions during athletic training and strength & conditioning services, other educational programs are conducted regularly and per group wishes on topics of choice. Families, teams, sport clubs, schools, social groups, and corporate groups are types of clients that benefit from KAK's educational programs in the forms of academic classes, seminars, workshops, Kamps, and Koaches' Klinics. Programs can be conducted at the site of regular client group functions (i.e. office, schools, etc) or can be provided by KAK. Prices dependent upon number of participants, location, materials necessary, etc. Prices are discounted if the client provides the program site (i.e. classroom, gym, banquet room, etc).
